2. Wet cleaning of stainless steel precision casting.
1) hydraulic sand cleaning. It refers to a method of sand cleaning by using the high-pressure water inputted by the high-pressure water pump to form a high-pressure jet through the nozzle of the spray gun and shooting at the mold sand and sand core on the surface of the casting.
2) electro-hydraulic sand cleaning. The basic principle is the electro-hydraulic hammer effect, which uses a high-voltage pulse generator to discharge between phases through a special electrode placed in water, resulting in a large hydraulic shock. Because the elastic modulus and vibration frequency of the surface adhesion of precision casting products are different from those of the castings themselves, the purpose of sand cleaning is achieved. It has a more reliable cleaning effect for castings with complex shape, such as deep hole, blind hole and inner cavity.
The surface defects of stainless steel precision castings are mainly manifested as pitting, or we call it pockmarks. If this phenomenon occurs, we can only choose scrapping treatment, resulting in an increase in our production costs, which is not conducive to the saving of product resources.
